Description
Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for an IDX Application Specialist to join our team in Huntington, WV.

Job Responsibilities:
This position will initially support the IDX practice management application for the new Perot Systems' client then may become part of a leveraged team supporting multiple clients in a new proposed ASP offering of the IDX system.

Support will begin with a local version of IDX at the client site, assist with providing required enhancements and upgrades to benefit the Perot Systems revenue cycle team and to promote increased front and back office efficiencies, while supporting the upgrade and migration of the platform to the ASP platform.

Required Skills:
  • Min of 2-5 years of IDX practice management application support experience
  • Strong working knowledge of all base IDX modules (e.g. BAR and DBMS)
  • Work experience in a large physician practice to gain a full understanding of front and back office functions and how IDX configuration improvements increases the effectiveness of these functions
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft PC applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access)
  • Basic knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-9-CM coding

    Desired Skills:
  • Support of IDXtend and Flowcast 3.0 at a large academic medical center
  • User set up and support, security administration and support of additional IDX modules: Transaction Editing System, Analyzer, Paperless Collection System, Enterprise Wide Scheduling, etc
  • Strong working knowledge of BAR and DBMS
