Description
The IT Manager, Logistics Systems, located at The Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA will lead the Logistics Technology team in the successful support of Retail, Food & Beverage, Warehousing, and Inventory related applications for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts including The Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA as well as Walt Disney World, in Orlando, FL. While based in Anaheim, CA, the IT Manager will have an East Coast reporting relationship. They will accountable for planning, leading and actively participating in ongoing and planned Supply Chain projects, and partner with Foods, Merchandise, and Supply Chain business partners to support and enhance the current systems. They will work closely with multiple lines of business to better understand their needs and develop effective plans to deliver technology solutions and manage timelines and financials to ensure that projects are delivered on-time and on-budget. They will communicate team and project status to management and will be responsible for executive presentations and reporting requirements.


Requirements:
BA/BS Technical Discipline or BA/BS MBA preferred.
8-10 years of relevant Disney Information Technology experience.
Previous leadership experience, a dynamic leader that brings innovative ideas and strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and communicate well in a distributed environment.
Experience in Retail and Food & Beverage Operations
Experience in Logistics and Warehouse environments
Strong Project Management Skills
Proven strong analytical/quantitative skills and problem solving ability
Demonstrated experience developing and delivering package and custom applications across multiple technologies
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project) Primavra a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills, both with internal IT staff and with Resort partners (e.g. HR, Operations, FAM)
Demonstrated strong communication & organizational skills
Ability to communicate with the executive level both verbally and in writing
Strong business skills including budgeting, accounting and reporting to management
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslydf-tc
