Description
Serve as the IT Operations Manager / EDI Specialist for local distribution business handling all administrative / operational and EDI responsibilities for customers and order processing. Troubleshoot IT software and / or network problems and work with appropriate external vendors on problem resolution. Set up new trading partners on EDI system, update transaction sets. Transmit and receive all EDI documents. Monitor all AS/400 system activities. Run and print all End of Day and End of Month financial reports. Enter and maintain item information and pricing for manufacturers. Publish pricing to sales representatives, manufacturers, and distributors.Prefer local / regional candidates or those with ties to the area.

Experience/Skills
6 years experience in Information Systems, 3 of which must be in leadership of EDI and AS/400 Operations Administration. Knowledge of PC network support for Server 2000. EDI mapping in an AS/400 environment is critical. Skills in AS/400 Administration / Operations and production are essential. Trusted Link software is preferred, but other experience is acceptable on the AS/400. Must have the ability to learn quickly and be receptive to constant change.

Other desired skills:
