Description
Oversee IT operations, telecom and networking initiatives in providing IT services to Latin America. This position is responsible for assessing requirements and proposing IT solutions for a broad set of IT functions across all Latin American locations and acting as a liaison across all of PPD IT groups in behalf of the Latin American Managers.

The goal of this position is to ensure the Latin American Business Requirements are met and significant issues are escalated directly to the Executive Director / VP of IT.

Education and Experience:

5 years management experience in an IT function or staff including or in addition to:
- a minimum of 2 years experience in an IT business liaison roll, working with senior business managers and
- 2 years project management experience or similar leadership type role.

AND
- 5+ years of experience in IT operations/networking or systems development including/in addition to:
- 2 years experience managing regulatory compliance of IT

AND
4 year degree in Computer Science or related area or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Working knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese is desirable or willingness to learn one or both within 1 year
Client focused approach with strong interpersonal skills.
Must be able to multi task and pay close attention to detail
Strong management skills with a focus on matrix management skills (managing, leading with no or limited authority)
