Description
Robert Half IT Search is looking for a capable 2nd Shift IT Support Operator for our client in the Winston-Salem area.

Experience/Skills
The ideal candidate must have:
High School diploma and 1+ years equivalent work experience
Willingness to pursue at least one (1) certification in any of the following: Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Novel Netware, Novell GroupWise, Sun Solaris, UNIX, A+, or comparable technology solutions.
Technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems to include any of the following: Netware, Windows 2000/XP/2003, Solaris, Unix, and Linux
Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware such as workstations, laptops, printers, switches, hubs, modems, network interface cards, and the like.
Understanding of Citrix and Terminal Services
Strong willingness to learn
Good Customer Service skills
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Physical Requirements Include:
Ability to lift computer hardware and supplies up to 40 lbs.
Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and to handle other computer components.
On call availability as needed to support network operations.
Willingness to travel as required.
