Description
We are looking for an IT Support Specialist with a financial background in Northern New Jersey area. This position will sit within the Production Services Team of the IT department. This candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting the day-to-day running of three applications.

Main Duties and Responsibilities include:
First-line support
. Responding to telephone hotline
. Monitoring the Remedy stack
. Monitoring the group email box
. Root Cause analysis and issue resolution
. Ensuring that the production environment is performing within expected parameters
. Maintenance of support documentation
. Escalation of issues where business impact is critical
. Deployment Acceptance Test
. Facilitating Production and DR releases

The Ideal candidate should come from an application support background (2+ years) and be familiar with liaising with users who have varying IT skills. This person will be customer focused, a good communicator, problem solver, team player, manage time, and can manage issues while under pressure.
