Genesis10 Consulting, has partnered with the nations leading healthcare provider and is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Analyst for a 1 year contract in Vallejo, CA. Overall purpose of the project: KPIT is engaged in upgrading and converting all network and desktops across the enterprise to a new consistent standard through the Express Desktop project that will allow for higher availability and greater ease of support than the current multiple scenarios now in place. Duties: Will report to the Implementation Project Manager (IPM) for the Medical Center area to which they are assigned. Infrastructure Data Base input and updating: The Analyst works with local KPIT Operations to assure that changes to the infrastructure are updated on a regular basis in the Data Base and to maintain it as the teams single source of information for developing scopes of work, scheduling and planning.

Requirements:

Skills required: Minimum 1 year Excel and Word experience Requirements: As candidate will be interacting on a regular basis with clinicians and other Kaiser staff in the medical centers, strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must. The resources will be housed in the Medical Service Area. Travel to all locations within the MSA and Regional offices will be required. Must be willing to travel between Kaiser facilities in the Vallejo/Napa/Fairfield/Vacaville areas to perform surveys or equipment checks. May require someone being on their feet for 3 - 6 hours on some days. Must be flexible to daily changes in scope, requirements and schedule. Must have a sense of humor and positive attitude to deal with difficult situations.
