Our client, a fortune 500 leader in the financial services industry, is currently seeking a talented Project Manager for a 11 month contract in Foster City, CA.

11 month contract
Act as project manager or project lead for technology infrastructure distributed systems projects with emphasis on Open Systems (UNIX, AIX, Linux and Windows), Information Security and Network infrastructure projects. Identify deliverables and milestones, assemble and direct project team, track deliverables, identify risks, escalate to management when necessary, provide status to customers and management. Project manage &/or write Statements of Work &/or High Level Estimates for Global Processing Services (GPS) FY08 in plan or proposed FY08 technical infrastructure projects (GISP, TOC, Intl Mgmt., etc.) &/or coordinate GPS deliverables for Technology Solutions projects using Project Management Methodology and GPS's Project Support Process. Responsible for all aspects of Project Management: project initiation, detailed project planning, project execution & control, project closure, production integration & service activation. Ensure compliance with Project Management Methodology. Utilize the Gateway suite of tools and the GPS Gateway, and ensure collection of accurate & timely information & reporting on project progress and financials. Define scope, develop project plans, project budgets and resource plans/forecasts; direct project activities, objectives, reviews, risk management, change control processes & communications. Prepare & deliver presentations on scope, function, process & results of projects to division & senior management & facilitate project planning and requirements sessions.

-Must be PMP certified!
-Open Systems (Unix, Linux, AIX)
