Description
The client is looking for a corporate trainer to produce corporate presentations to new employees on various products. This person could have been in a high school teaching position and want to move into this field. They could also be a trainer (non-IT related) that wants to work for the banking industry.Design, develop, and evaluate instructional programs, materials, methods, teaching and assessment techniques. Explores and evaluates new technologies, materials, and techniques for their applicability to educational uses. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Plan and produce designs for instructional materials Researches, develops and organizes training materials as required Provides professional and analytical support during the evaluation, development, and delivery of training programs for skills, technical, management, and staff development training Develops new training materials and revises pre-existing resources to ensure business unit or group training needs are met. Develops effective training reinforcement and follow up vehicles. Evaluates training methodology and make revisions/additions as required Maintains training schedule and conducts training sessions in accordance with same Coordinates with organization goals and objectives the operational training needs and executes schedule to achieve proficiency levels for employees Provides feedback to Manager of Training & Development for maintenance of training data base Maintains contact with other companies, training organizations and associations for the purpose of keeping abreast of new training development and courses Leads regular reviews of training programs and results for continual improvement Contributes to the development and revision of process and application specific training guides for instructors and trainees Responds to all e-mails and voice mails within 4 business hours When employee relations problems or issues are made known to you, bring immediately to the attention of Manager of Training and Development Other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to present training materials and information creatively and effectively utilizing various training methods Written and oral communication skills must evidence a high degree of professionalism Excellent follow up and organizational skills. Detail oriented. Experience working and making decisions with minimal supervision Strong PC skills to include Microsoft Windows, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. Proficient in Excel. Skills in Access considered a plus. Discretion, courtesy, and tact are required when handling and proper disclosing of confidential information Strong organizational abilities required in order to handle multiple tasks and details while meeting deadlines Ability to review all types of departmental documents, letters, memos, etc. for errors and ensure corrections are made is requiredLANGUAGE SKILLS Bilingual (English and Spanish) considered a plusCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Training certification preferreddf-tc
Experience/Skills
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School diploma (or equivalent) is required Bachelors degree in a related field is preferred Minimum of two to five years experience of curriculum training, development, and facilitation in a fast paced environment handling training activities for classroom size up to 50 people, or 2-4 years progressive experience in a sub-prime mortgage servicing environment. One year previous experience in the mortgage industry or equivalent experience in a related financial field, considered a plus Typing skills of 40+ wpm required
