Description
Concentric Corporation is actively seeking a Java Developer. Interested candidates should contact us if they have 3 years of experience with software product development, 2 years programming in SQL, 2 years of Oracle database programming, 3 years of Java and JSP programming with hands-on experience with web scripting (Perl/CGI, PHP, JSP, and ASP/VBScript); and an understanding of database-driven web design using PL/SQL.

Candidates should also have an understanding of Oracle database systems, practical knowledge of XML-based messaging systems, experience with a UNIX/LINUX web development environment and familiarity with UNIX scripting languages. Familiarity with web content management systems and with leading eCommerce systems with strong hands-on problem solving and development capability is also required.

Essential duties for this position will be to improve core systems, including workflow, production systems, and web deployed applications, make key contributions to the design and architecture of new systems (web content, eCommerce, etc.), provide day-to-day troubleshooting for vendor relations (XML-based supply chain, channel distribution partners) and interface with key partners to improve data exchange and reporting systems.
