POSITION SUMMARY:
- Responsible for design, implementation, and maintenance of the technical infrastructure that supports the company-s enterprise systems, including: Servers, system software (Citrix, VMware, etc-), storage sub-systems and Data Center environmental controls. Ensure optimal performance of all enterprise systems.

Supervisory responsibilities: None

Job description in percentages (functions, duties, and standards):
- 25% - Responsible for the configuration, implementation, maintenance and operation of the company-s servers and storage infrastructure including the operating systems as well as other infrastructure software packages (Microsoft Products, utilities, Citrix, VMware, etc-).
- 15% - Monitor and coordinate facility related activities at Data Centers and remote Telco/Server rooms including maintenance and new construction.
- 10% - Safeguard the company-s operating data through a formalized and documented program of security administration and data backups. Manage incoming and outgoing data backup media, rotation schedules and storage.
- 10% -Manage multiple infrastructure projects, which affect several departments and/or company business processes.
- 5% - Provide assistance in management of software licensing, hardware leases, service contracts, and inventory control.
- 25% - Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:
- BS/BA in Business Admin, Computer Science or related field desirable
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) highly desirable
- Equivalent combination of education & experience will be considered.
- Preference is given to formal education.

EXPERIENCE:
- At least 1 year experience in NT/SQL Server systems administration
- Expert knowledge of client/server technologies
- Working knowledge of enterprise server installation and administration
- Working knowledge of LAN/WAN hardware and administration
- Working knowledge of managed care operations desirable

SPECIAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- The position requires expert technical skills, effective communications skills with all levels of the company in order to be successful.
- Microsoft Server concepts and administration
- LAN/WAN concepts and administration
- Computer hardware installation and operations, including servers & peripherals
- Desktop productivity tools, E-mail & P/C utilities
- Project management tools
