The BearingPoint Public Services organizations is currently searching for a Senior Systems Analyst, Junior level Java Application Developer.

Performance Profile/ Position Description:
The candidate will: Translate requirements to detailed software design, implementation and testing for Java/J2EE web applications; Support full life cycle development; Collaborate and communicate with team members and clients; Work with testers to resolve defects; System Design and development support using Java, Microsoft, ColdFusion, Sybase and Oracle technologies; Unit testing, system testing, and system integration testing; Review the business process to ensure that the solutions to the issues reported conform to the prescribed business operating guidelines; Develop and test data correction scripts as needed basis; System and User Documentation and White Paper development as necessary.


Required Skills:
B.S. Degree
Experience in gathering requirements through RAD/JAD sessions.
Development of SDLC documents; Web-based development using Java Application Servers.
3 to 4 years of industry experience with Java/J2EE technologies including JSP, Servlets, Struts, XML, and Eclipse IDE.
2+ years Experience with SQL (Sybase preferred).
2+ yearsExperience working in a Solaris 10 and Sun One 8 environment.

Desired Skills:
Federal consulting experience.
Housing industry work experience.
Web application design and development
Object-Oriented Design & Development (OOD) Experience building workflow and review systems
Full SDLC, requirements analysis, design, development and testing, OOD, Component-Based development; Sybase, J2EE, ColdFusion

1+ years JDBC and Oracle stored procedures
1+ years Good working knowledge of JSF, XML/XSLT, Hibernate
1+ years Functional & technical knowledge of Grants.gov integration
Can use Case development
1+ years of Workflow & Review systems, Rational Unified Process (RUP)
