Berean Group is seeking a Infrastructure Strategy Program Manager

Position Description:




The ideal candidate will possess experience in implementing infrastructure projects; must be results oriented self starter who can effectively navigate a large organization. The individual will be accountable for enabling successful project delivery through disciplined project and program management processes and close collaboration with colleagues throughout the organization.



Other duties include:


·


Manage a staff of 20 I.T. professionals who collectively manage approximately 70 business critical projects

·


Implement program framework in conjunction with the End Client's project management methodology (including status reporting and metrics)

·


Develop and manage program plans which include risk analysis and mitigation plans
Ensure program issues are tracked, managed and resolved

·


Develop and implement a program communication plan

·


Ensure cross-track dependencies are identified and managed

·


Implement change management mechanism to effectively manage program scope

·


Coordinate with other program managers to identify cross-program dependencies and leverage best practices

·


Coordinate activities of multiple vendors and subject matter experts

·


Conduct detailed reviews and quality control monitoring for all projects in the program

·


Produce executive level communication for program stakeholders

·


Establish and sustain strong ongoing relationships with the End Client and business partners



Skills/Experience:



·


Infrastructure 7-9 Yrs.


·


Project Management 4-6 Yrs.

·


PMP Certification preferred

·


Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

·


Minimum of 8 years of industry experience that includes 5+ years managing implementations of I.T infrastructure projects (specifically cabling, network voice/data and PC deployments)

·


Skilled in MS Office Productivity Tools and MS Project.

·


Experience managing projects with I.T. budgets up to $1 million and total project budgets up to $25 million. Project teams up to 25 people, spanning multiple locations and up to 10 interdependent work tracks.

·


Experience supervising and mentoring a small team and coordinating their assignments and development activities.






·


Strong planning, coordination and project management skills.

·


Prior project management experience with complex deployment projects.

·


Basic knowledge of information technology, IT operations, and service desk and support processes.

·


Ability to quickly grasp and apply the Kaiser Permanente project delivery lifecycle and oversight processes.

·


Strong customer focus with a demonstrated ability to work seamlessly with business sponsors and technologists

·


Experience with all phases of the project delivery lifecycle.
