Position Description:

MUST be experienced in the support, development and configuration of LabView.

The LabView toolset is currently used in the Traffic Operations section of KYTC for traffic signal sequencing, timing, kiosks, weather station and GPS travel program. Further enhancement, development, support, and upgrade assistance will be required of the applicant.

Provide leadership in the development and support of LabView.

Have general understanding of traffic operations and how LabView can be utilized.

Provide support of the LabView programs in production.

Provide analysis and develop reports as needed.

Provide leadership in further expansion of the toolset.

Assist in the upgrade and maintenance of the system.

Assist in developing and providing training.

Experience/Skills
Skills:

Two or more years of professional experience in the LabView Products.

College Graduate with bachelors or associate degree. Experience in the LabView toolset is a must and will substitute for the education requirement on a year for year basis.

Must possess interpersonal skills required for managing group discussion, decision making processes including; diplomacy, conflict resolution, and ability to encourage group participation.
