Description
Ajilon Consulting has a great new position open with our client in Erlanger Kentucky for a long-term (1 year+) Level 2 Technical Support person. This person will be responsible for local coordination, installation and on-going support for Windows 2000 laptops, desktops, peripherals and printers. They will also be responsible for maintaining a standard image on user laptops, desktops, and potentially PDA's. You will be required to setup and configure desktop and laptop equipment with Windows 2000 and have strong troubleshooting skills.df-tc

Experience/Skills
The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Windows 2000 Professional, a knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP and SMS. You should also have a basic understanding of Windows 2000 Active Directory and Microsoft's Appilcation Compatibility Toolkit and experience troubleshooting user applications. You should have an understanding of desktop imaging and automated tools such as Microsoft's SMS product. Familiarity with Lotus Notes and MCSE or other certifications are a plus! Position will include procurement functions and will require equipment pickup from the mailroom. Heavy lifting and unboxing of desktops, monitors, laptops and printers will also be required.
