Description
Our client, a dynamic and growing web publishing company, has an immediate need for a Mac and Windows Desktop Support professional. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in order to determine how to solve any technical issues that arise in a mixed Windows and Mac OS X environment. The Macintosh support professional should be able to have the patience to work with unskilled and highly-skilled PC and Mac users. The Mac support professional will work on both the application and server support side on various projects as needed.

Experience/Skills
•3 years plus of Desktop Support experience REQUIRED. •Advanced knowledge and ability to troubleshoot Windows 2000/XP and Mac operating systems and applications. Advanced knowledge of remote access applications. Proven computer hardware troubleshooting ability and the ability to troubleshoot a Windows and Mac network environment. •Applications supported includes: Outlook, Office XP\2003, Mac and Blackberry devices. •Experience with troubleshooting Printers (both network and stand alones). •Able to solve network connectivity problems, understand TCP/IP protocols, and be able to let higher levels of support know specific technical issues in detail. •Creating ghost images from scratch and deploying new machines with images a plus. •Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
