Job Title: Mid Level Powerbuilder Developer


Overview
The ideal candidate will work as a member of the development team for a suite of Client Server applications. Candidates will be responsible for analysis, design, and development of user interfaces using PowerBuilder and SQL Server. They will also assist in the development and deployment of unit and system integration test plans.

Requirements

- This position is for a lead PowerBuilder candidate to work in PowerBuilder 6.5 - PowerBuilder 8.0
- 2-4 years of PowerBuilder version 6.5 or higher
- Will support current in-house application which are in PowerBuilder
- Will be writing stored procedures - SQL Server, DTS
- Must be able to hit the ground running
- In-house base object inheritance, client server exp.
- Must know how to use Apply Data Window
- Clients will send text files or spread sheets that will need to be imported into SQL Server.
- .Net experience would be a plus
- DTS Packages are a must (not have complex triggers)
- Must have strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Outstanding analytical skills
- Self starter, someone who naturally takes initiative, is pro-active and can work independently on a variety of projects.
