ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

“Essential functions” are primarily job duties that incumbents must be able to perform unassisted or with some reasonable accommodation made by the employer.

 

·         Utilize and incorporate advanced multimedia tactics and concepts into the firm’s strategic communications, integrated marketing campaigns, websites, media relations, event planning and firm collateral production

·         Cross train team members on cutting edge technologies as it relates to: online media relations, new media, search engine optimization and pay per click and other internet advertising

·         Timely and responsive management of web page additions, revisions and other programming needs

·         Implement server-side and client-side web applications

·         Configure and maintain web site hosting and web site analytics and statistics tools with appropriate reporting and training

·         Research, management and application of search engine optimization best practices and ongoing initiatives

·         Management of domain names and cross browser testing

·         Creation and/or maintenance of marketing related databases

·         Strategic development and execution of landing pages to support paid search engine advertising programs

·         Development and design of high quality custom computer graphics and other interactive media or interfaces

·         Assist with the design, recording, editing and implementation of video (motion graphics and video footage) as well as audio sound files

·         Assist with copy writing and editing for multiple formats

·         Understanding and adherence to quality brand and graphic standards

·         Understanding and adherence to timeliness, budgets and ROI (Return on Investment)

 

Experience/Skills

·         Bachelor’s degree

·      Comprehensive understanding of integrated communications, marketing plans, branding tools, tactics, terminology and concepts

  • Thorough understanding of professional website development and functionalities for business clients

·      Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Especially Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver, Illustrator

     Premier Pro)

·      Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

·      Effective copy writing and editing skills

  • Proven skills in HTML, XML, CSS, MySQL, ASP, ASP.net, PHP and other leading web languages

 

  • In-depth and proficient understanding of SEO principles, best practices and resources

 

  • Hands on experience with creative web software and tools, including building and utilizing content management systems

 

  • Practiced in deploying websites and resolving any hosting issues

 

  • Ability to validate work to WC3 coding and accessibility standards

 

  • Understanding of automation security

·      Excellent verbal communication skills

·      Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time

·         Ability to work well within a team environment

·        Experience with Mac also helpful

WORKING HOURS:

Work may require more than 40 hours per week to perform the duties of the position.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Overtime is possible and may be expected in order to perform the essential functions of the position. 

Work is performed in a normal heated or air-conditioned office environment.
