Description of Duties: The desired candidate is expected to perform the following duties. 1) Provide a framework for understanding the technologies and process. 2) Provide a logical overview and map of the certification and accreditation process following NIST methodology. 3) Develop a Certification and Accreditation Checklist. 4) Provide tactical solutions to known problems. 5) Assist with FRA and external system providers in developing MOUs and MOA. 6) Perform a risk assessment analysis and evaluate the status of the IT systems. 7) Perform a certification and accreditation process for the IT Systems. 8) Summarize certification activities and results.

Requirements:

Requirements: The required candidate should be able to develop and assist in implementation of IT Security policies and Standard Operating Procedures. The suitable candidate should have complete knowledge and working experience in Certification and Accreditations of IT systems. The candidate should have a thorough knowledge of one of the standard methodologies used in the Certification and Accreditation process. The suitable candidate must have an extensive experience, following the NIST guidelines, in the Risk Assessment and Management, Vulnerability Analysis in the area of Technical, Operational, Administrative, Physical and Personnel, Threat Analysis and the Mitigation Plans, Disaster Recovery Plan, Threat Analysis, Contingency Plan, Knowledge of Management, Technical and Operational Controls, Incident Response Capability, Communication Plan, Configuration Management Plan, System Security Plan and Application Security Test and Evaluation. The ideal candidate should have the abilities to perform the penetration testing, vulnerability testing, database password protection testing and application security testing. Desired Skills:The suitable candidate must have the knowledge and technical skills in TCP/IP, LAN/WAN technologies, various LAN-Hubs and Switches, Security architecture and VPN communications. The candidate must also have experience in Intrusion Detection Tools, Internet Security Scanner, ISS Real Secure Intrusion Detection, Kane Security Analyst, Bindview Enterprise Security Manager, various network sniffers and Internet penetration tools.Knowledge of Federal agencies* external reporting requirements and its internal security requirements is desired.df-tc
