Description
The Sr. Network Engineer will design, implement and manage Cisco switches, firewalls (Checkpoint, ASA or PIX), and routers; Assist in LAN/WAN related changes and additions; Implementing and managing all aspects of security; Work with IT team members to assess and solve all company wide IT issues; Train and help all end users on voice and data issues; Install, manage and maintain all voice and data communication links between sites. Experience with F5 load balancers, DNS administration, Network Management Systems such as Openview, Voyence Control, and Fluke/NetQoS Performance Management. Daily Duties include but are not limited to: o Manage day-to-day operations and support of voice and data networks and related systems. o Maintain network security to ensure protection of corporate data and network access. o Provide technical direction and recommendations in order to enhance and maintain the network infrastructure. o Install, maintain and support all LAN and WAN data communication equipment. o Interact with vendors, suppliers and consultants for relevant Information Systems goods and services. Qualified candidates will have 3-5 years of network engineering experience and are Cisco certified (CCNP preferred).
