  • Consult with customers, product and Sales Engineers on deployment strategies for various customers. *
  • Candidate will be responsible for documenting all complex configurations deployed within our environment as well as monitoring existing customer deployments and making official recommendations for upgrades. *
  • Candidates must also possess a desire to learn advanced configurations and have a very high attention to detail.Requirements*
  • Excellent attitude, great phone etiquette, minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute*
  • Candidate must possess the ability to both record and following detailed instructions and perform vendor research into advanced configurations & solutions *
  • Candidate must have the ability to work in a mixed environment of GUI & command line operating systems. Strong Working knowledge of an OS (Windows, Linux, Solaris, BSD) *
  • Professional level knowledge required:*
  • DNS (A records, CNAMES, MX records, Authority Section, TTL values.)*
  • PIX firewall *
  • Cisco IDS *
  • Cisco CSS *
  • IP routing and switching*
  • Large networks or web hosting industry*
  • Knowledge/Experience with Cisco ACE and F5*
  • Bachelors degree in Computer / Network Information Systems or relative experience*
  • CCSP required*
  • A minimum 5 years relevant experience*
  • Should be able to advise every level of the business about security*
  • Evaluate new security products*
  • Provide Training and consultation on new security products and deploymentsdf-tc
