Description
Permanent position in High Point, North Carolina. Local candidates preferred. We are seeking someone with 5+ years of experience.

We are seeking a generalist of sorts, someone who can maintain the networks, emails, pc's, backup, etc. as well as being skilled in or interested in programming in C and C++.

Business casual environment. Criminal background check and drug test required.

Experience/Skills
Hands on and Technical Knowledge of the following are required:
Windows NT/2000/XP PC Setup and Administration in a mixed TCP/IP, IPX/SPX environment
Windows 2000 Server (possibly Windows 2003 Server) Administration
Microsoft Active Directory
Novell NetWare Server 5.1 - 6.5 Administration
Windows scripting
MS-DOS and batch file processes
Borland Database Engine (BDE/IDAPI)
Borland/Corel Paradox Ddatabase Administration
16-bit Paradox for DOS version 4.5 - programming and support
32-bit Paradox versions 7, 8, 9 or 10 - programming and support (Borland Delphi programming proficiency acceptable)
Other programming languages helpful but not required, especially C, C++
TCP/IP and IPX/SPX protocols
10/100/1000 Ethernet over copper and 100/1000 Ethernet over fiber
ARCserve tape backup software
BackupExec tape backup software
Web development and maintenance using NetObjects Fusion 7, 8 and 9
Apache web server version 2.0
Web server management
PHP Scripting
MySQL
Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook, Outlook Express proficiency
Trend Micro Client Server Security Suite SMB 2.0 (OfficeScan 6.0 anti-virus)
