Description
Our east side client has a Direct Hire need for an Oracle DBA. This is NOT a contract position. This Oracle DBA should have experience supporting / administrating Oracle 10g in an AIX environment. The roll will include monitoring and performance tuning, applying patches and upgrades, performing back ups and recoveries, as well as managing and resolving Oracle TAR's. The Oracle DBA position will require extensive SQL and PL/SQL code and shell scripting. Responsibility to verify and ensure efficiency of custom applications in the architecture but also plan for growth and scalability. Experience/Skills
** Must have Oracle 10g.** Must have Unix experience, AIX 5.3 is preferred.** Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.** Extensive experience with SQL and PL/SQL is a must.** Bachelors degree preferred
