TRASYS, Inc is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to work in a large, publicly traded client environment. The right individual will be ready to work in a fast paced environment leveraging new technologies that will drive business growth and expansion. We are looking for an individual contributor that enjoys working in an exciting environment where they can see the impact of their day to day activities on the business.

The Oracle DBA is responsible for the implementation and the day-to-day support of Oracle Technologies as follows: *


Configure OID to eliminate TNSNames and integrate with AD and provide support

*


Install Oracle Workflow

*


Implement Oracle Warehouse Builder in 10g environment

*


Implement Oracle RAC/Grid technology

*


Install and configure Oracle Enterprise Manager to provide appropriate alerts

*


Actively monitor Oracle Enterprise Manager for overall database health

*


Make necessary database changes in response to OEM alerts

*


Prepare documentation defining standard installation procedures for Oracle-based technologies

*


Keep current with new Oracle technologies

*


Apply patches and upgrades to satisfy our strategy for keeping current

*


Routinely measure and report Oracle performance and up-time metrics

*


Implement and test backup strategies

*


Actively participate in weekly IT project meetings

*


Migrate Oracle 9i databases to Oracle 10g
