Description
1 year plus contract position for a developer with a strong background in Oracle Discoverer, and Data Warehousing, and ETL experience. Perform logical and physical data model development to consistently meet or exceed business requirements while providing a high level of maintainability and efficiency in the use of computer resources.
Define data sources and flows and design processes to extract, cleanse, and transform data required to populate the Datawarehouse using PL/SQL, SQL Loader, Unix Shell scripting and tools like Informatica or Oracle Datawarehouse Builder. Use design tools such as Erwin, or Designer 20000 according to established project schedules.
Investigate data problems and make data model and ETL modifications as required to prevent reoccurrence. Implement solutions following internal Change Management guidelines and policies.
Design and maintain user data interface that is presented using Discoverer Web, and Viewer and Web Portal. Develop user interfaces with Oracle Forms, ASP, HTML or other tools.
Possible perm position after 1 year contract.

Experience/Skills
5 Years Oracle Data Warehouse Experence
3-5 years Oracle Discover, PL/SQL and Data modeling experience, ETL experience.
Strong troubleshooting skills, maintenance and modifications to existing system.
Experience Developing data models and enhance performance of existing SQL Scripts and Reports.
