Description
We are currently seeking an Oracle Database Administrator for a role to provide operational day to day support in a Oracle Database, Oracle Application Server and Oracle RAC environment. This person will be responsible to develop and maintain databases using various applications based on user requirements. Develop and execute project plans for the development of databases based on determinations of user requirements. Interacts with users to determine and clarify requirements and to produce test data and scenarios. Tests, tunes, and refines databases. Installs database systems in support of projects. Ensures security and stability of databases. Documents database structures, processes, and performance modifications.

Experience/Skills
This person must have the following experience:5+ years experience with Oracle database technologies3+ years experience with Unix operating systemsExpertise with Oracle ServerExpertise with Database Reorganizations, debugging, and performance tuningExpertise with Backup & Restore technologies Hands-on experience with software and hardware troubleshooting, patches, etc., with the proven ability to quickly solve complex technical problems Ability to adapt in a changing work environment (changing priorities / job tickets) including long working hours as systems problems arise
