Genesis10 has a need for an Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join one of the largest financial organizations in the world. Client is based in Charlotte, NC. This is a 6+ month contract with the possibility for contract-to-hire if candidate shows success on project. The Oracle PL/SQL Developer will act as a business analyst/developer supporting the Finance Data Warehouse production process for client.

Responsibilities:
- Determine requirements and translate into technical specifications.
- Analyze, mine, map, transform and transfer data between a variety of data sources.
- Development of SQL, PLSQL and UNIX scripts to facilitate data transformation.df-tc

Experience/Skills
Required Skills/Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years experience utilizing Oracle SQL PL/SQL Development, SQL Tuning, UNIX shell scripting and Data Warehousing concepts including Teradata.
- Ability to quickly absorb and understand the business processes and data that is critical for Regulatory Reporting.
- Strong communications skills and the ability to partner with both the business side subject matter experts and technical peers to ensure timely and accurate results to the critical business area.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Mainframe / COBOL.
- Familiarity with Finance / General Ledger and Regulatory concepts.
