Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a PAC's Specialist to join our team in Anaheim, CA.

The PAC's Specialist provides the primary support and oversight of the PACS (Picture Achieving and Communication System) System which integrates within an enterprise healthcare environment.

Will ensure the stability of the PACS environment, delivery of projects, installations that integrate new modalities (imaging equipment) and provides ongoing maintenance.

Participates with team members in strategic design meetings which provide innovative growth in this rapidly changing environment.

The ideal candidate offers broad experience in Healthcare IT and PAC's administration working within the Cardiology and Radiology Hospital environment.


Required Skills:
  • 2 years experience supporting a high volume healthcare PACS environment
  • 2 years experience as a PAC's Administrator
  • 2 years experience with PACS design, implementation, maintenance and support
  • 2 years experience with Radiology and Cardiology PACS workflow
  • 2 years experience managing PACS desktop, server, storage, integration, and security requirements
  • 2 years management of multiple PACS projects including: system upgrades, data migration, installs and integration
  • Mental Characteristics: Must be able to exercise appropriate judgment when assessing the needs of the client and determine the resolution best suited for the situation. Requires a high level of initiative and independence. Handle concurrent or multiple tasks/projects efficiently.
  • Physical Characteristics: Vision sufficient to read standard text, read a computer monitor and to drive; speak and hear well enough to communicate clearly and understandably in person, over the telephone and in small groups; independent body mobility to stand, sit, walk, stoop, and bend to access a standard office environment; manual dexterity to use hands, arms and shoulders repetitively to operate a keyboard and to write. Body strength sufficient to lift up to 25 pounds. Able to work in an office environment, on field assignments and occasionally drive to other locations and work evenings or weekends for special situations.

    Desired Skills:
  • Familiarity with HL7 and systems integration.
  • Experience with DICOM data migration
  • Experience with the Fuji PACS system
  • Experience with the Siemens syngo Dynamics System


    Minimum Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience combination of technical education and experience.
