We are currently seeking a PC roll out specialist


Provide assistance with the rollout of new Lab PC's:

Individual will not have direct responsibility and will receive day to day rollout activities based around PC deployment from the project scheduler.


Tasks to be completed
To Support the Lab Support Group to help achieve the objectives listed below:

Apply Lab XP Operating System builds to PCs and install in house application eLNB.

Co-ordination of the required activities within agreed timelines

Recording data of all deployed Lab PC's

Ensure all assignments are followed through to completion with minimal direction


Qualifications/ Minimum Required (Education/Experience/Competencies):

- 2+ years technical training experience in hands-on environment.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with both business and IT - critical to success.

- Experience in managing multiple tasks and priorities, working effectively in cross-functional team environments.

- Ability to work with minimum direction

- Ability to take assignments with minimal information and follow them through completion.

Experience/Skills
Specific skills:

- Microsoft XP Workstation (MCP /MCSE an advantage)

- HP Hardware Knowledge (Certification an advantage)

- Some Knowledge of Pharmaceutical applications / working environment

- Fault Finding skills

- 2nd Line Desktop Support skills

- Customer Service - Ability to understand the clients needs of the use of their PC's

- Teamwork - Interact and communicate effectively

- Technical Expertise - Proven ability to build PC's and install additional hardware


Assumptions:

UK / US R&D Sites inter-site travel is critical to success. Therefore appropriate car insurance needs to be taken by the individual.

Individual will be expected to work normal (37.5 UK / 40 US) working hours Monday - Friday.
