GENERAL JOB FUNCTION:
TRASYS, Inc. is currently seeking a PC Support for a contract to hire position in Bellevue WA.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will join a team of 3 local technicians and 100 remote technicians all with the responsibility of maintaining the IT infrastructure of desktops, server systems, and telephone systems.

Computer (PC) Support:
???Analyzing, installing, troubleshooting, upgrading, maintaining and supporting desktop hardware and software.
???Maintain performance levels of MS Windows 2000, Windows XP Professional, and all future MS OS???s as well as all MS Office products.
???Add, move, and change computer network connections on TCPIP networks.
???Utilize McAfee to protect desktops and servers.
???Utilize SMS and other enterprise desktop deployment SW.
???Assist in setting up meeting and conference rooms.
???Maintain inventory of computer equipment.
???Follow all SOX, Disaster Recovery, and other company compliance policies.

Systems Support:
???Assist Networking, Telecom, Security departments on various projects.
???Assists in the installation, maintenance, and deployment of server system products.
???Assists in maintaining server procedures.
???Assists in the maintaining Data Center operations.
???Assist other IT departments with various projects; Networking services, Security.
???Build relationships with end users
???Communicate in written reports with remote technicians


Work Schedule:
Flexible shifts Monday ??? Friday with some weekend and after business hour work requirements. Two primary shifts are 6am ??? 3pm and 8am ??? 5pm which need to be worked at least once per week. Other days in work week are flexible with 6:00am for early shift, 9:00am for late shift to start and 3:00pm for early shift, 5:00pm for late shift to end.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
This specific job position has the responsibility of performing and overseeing various tasks related to maintaining PC desktops in a fast paced company.
Job requirements are 3 ??? 4 years of experience as a PC technician, be able to travel 30% to local and remote business sites, and have strong writing skills in order to produce detailed status reports. Secondary responsibility is to assist in performing various network and system administration tasks to help maintain server systems and telephone systems.
Detailed knowledge of all aspects of Windows desktop OS???s and PC technology is a must. Knowledge of Windows server OS, Linux OS, Server HW, and TCPIP addressing technology is a plus.
