Description
Robert Half Technology's client in the education industry is looking for a PHP developer for a contract position with the possibility of contract-to-hire. This position can be primarily remote with some travel to company headquarters in California required (typically once every few months as needed.)
Do you have superior PHP programming skills? Technical expertise and new ideas? A desire to be at the cutting edge of online delivery of educational materials? Then this is the perfect opportunity for you. This is a PHP web programming position with tight deadlines and some customer interaction within a team environment.

Experience/Skills
    Qualifications
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years web programming experience
  • 3+ years experience with PHP, Java Script and XML/HTML
  • 1+ years experience with SQL
  • Experience with Flash, Flash Remoting, Java, J2EE and PERL a plus
  • Experience with software integration to relational database systems
  • Experience with scaling web-based applications
  • Work well in a team environment and willing to help other team members as needed
  • Work quickly and accurately with minimal supervision
