Description

As a PICK Programmer Analyst we are requiring the following skills;

  • 4-7+ years programming experience.
  • Responsible for maintaining current legacy PICK-based systems on UniVerse/ UNIX platform, as well as design and develop new software solutions.
  • Experience with Cispub software is preferred.
  • Proven work experience in software development and system design.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication skill – verbal and written – internally and externally to organization.
  • Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment
  • Able to manage development and maintenance of complex applications in a disparate application environment.
  • Experience with distribution, inventory control, order entry, customer service systems desired.
  • High degree of initiative around learning new technologies and development environments that support existing systems.
  • Ability to translate user requirements into functional specifications, writing system and user documentation.

 

Technical Skills:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience with knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

·         UniVerse PICK Basic

·         SQL

·         Microsoft Office Suite
