Description
Prestigious Fortune 500 Company located in a northern suburb of Indianapolis is currently seeking a PL/SQL Senior Systems Analyst. Candidates need strong coding experience. Candidates will be responsible for the administration and support of data management processes including reporting environment, data archiving, data warehousing processes and data mining. Work with departments to define their documentation management and workflow needs. Develop custom applications and integrate vendor-developed solutions. Work with customers to define business, technical, and functional requirements.

Responsibilities:
Define, coordinate and implement business, technical, and functional requirements using specialized software tools.
Evaluate, recommend and integrate new technology and tools.
Monitor, maintain and customize existing applications ensuring maximum performance.
Define and implement application requirements.
Perform administrative functions following standardized control practices.
Identify, implement and maintain procedures ensuring best practices and business continuity.
Establish and maintain multiple versions of information presentment systems in support of non-production IT functions.
Comply with SAS 70 and Change Management processes and procedures.

Experience:

Three years experience in maintenance and support of production grade software.
Two years experience with Crystal Reports and Business Objects.
One year experience with software development and testing.


Knowledge:
Principles, practices, and administration of technical issues.
Procedures involved in the information systems development life cycle.
Proficiency on multiple operating systems (UNIX, Windows).
Oracle DBMS, PL/SQL and ETL processing.
Data modeling, Metadata, EII and EIM concepts.
Relational database principles and SQL.
Software development and quality standards/models
Development, design and support of production grade software.

Education:

Bachelors degree preferred.
