The position will require one or more of the following:


Using current programming languages and technologies help to plan, design, develop, test and support software systems or applications. This will include software enhancements, patches and new products.

May be called upon to help develop and support interfaces between existing internal and external applications. Will also be responsible for troubleshooting any interface issues that may arise.

Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation and analysis of various factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Proposes and implements system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.

Responsible for writing and defining requirements based on management requests or new systems development.

Would be expected to handle maintenance and programming tasks with little or no supervision.
Aid in the technical design of new system processes.

Troubleshoots software and hardware failures and identifies network problems when they relate to personal computers.

Assist with writing portions of various project management plans related to schedule, risk, quality, logistics, etc.

Provides technical support for new and existing systems.

Develops and installs programs to support general business applications.

May make hardware or software purchasing recommendations.
All other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Understanding of different Application Architectures
  • Experience with payroll processing
  • Background in windows server administration
  • Knowledgeable with Oracle 10g
  • Experienced in SQL
