Description
Need strong IT Specialists and IT Architects who understand the business value of Workplace, Portal & Collaboration software and solutions to assist our customers with architecture, design, development, implementation, testing and/or performance of WebSphere Portal. Technologists in this role have strong consulting skills, often take on leadership or mentoring roles for deployment teams and are active in building their expertise in WebSphere and Lotus technologies. Customer- face time is essential to the success of our engagements and our consultants travel on average 80%.Candidates must have application or infrastructure architecture experience using WebSphere Portal, WebSphere Application Server (WAS), Java, J2EE and relational database experience (DB2 preferred) and at least 7 years in the IT industry. Excellent communication, interpersonal, teaming and problem solving skills are also required. Candidates can live anywhere in the Western/Central U.S. however easy airport access is key.
