Description
Printer technician for Xerox printers in Reno location. Must have A+ certification. 3+ Years of printer repair experience.Would like Xerox Manufacture Certifications but not a requirement Must have some certifications on HP, Xerox, or, Lexmark printersMust have own reliable automobile. Prior field service experience on printer break / fix within a 50 mile radius a plus. Break / Fix Experience working large urban territory also a plus.Must have a working Cell phone with 600 minutes or more per month.Stable work history, no job jumping. Looking to grow and improve their skills while obtaining manufacture certifications.Excellent communication skills and understanding importance of customer satisfaction. Must have strong writing and math skills / completing warranty claims forms.Prior experience in writing billable estimates.Must understand differences between Manufacture Warranty and T&M requirements. Is aware of spare parts “cross ship windows” and core returns.Having own tools a plus.Accurately and effectively communicate with customers to diagnose, process hardware break/fix service requests over assigned territory.Provide customers with accurate written estimates on all billable repairs.Provide explanations to customers regarding a unit’s warranty status based on manufacture guidelines.Manage work order queue including updating client and memo fields based on assigned SLA’s and level of urgency.Capable of assisting logistics personnel in ordering correct replacement parts via use of manufacture data bases. Provide a single point of contact for the client.Ensure all information in work orders is accurate, complete and current.Escalate issues to the appropriate contacts in a timely manner and ensure the client is aware of changes to original expectations in accordance with contractual guidelines.Add/Update call tracking system contact information as needed.Returns all defective, used or DOA parts before cross ship window closes.Turn in all reimbursable expenses weekly.Performs other related tasks as assigned.Solid typing skillsExcellent Phone SkillsApplies analytical, diagnostic thinkingConscientious and Courteous with customers and team matesWillingness to Help Others / Share KnowledgeCustomer Care / Positive AttitudeSolid Decision Making / Shows FlexibilityFamiliarity with a variety printer manufactures and other related office equipment.Effective Listening / PatienceRapid response to and identification of problemsSpeaks clearly and conciselyWorks well on a teamGood Interpersonal SkillsDemonstrate a consistent sense of urgencyRelies on instruction to perform duties.Ability to utilize resources i.e. Knowledge base, websites, etc.Good time management skills/multitasking
