We are Juice Wireless, a 3.5 year old start up based in Los Angeles, California.  We make JuiceCaster (www.juicecaster.com).  JuiceCaster is an award winning mobile social broadcasting utility.   JuiceCaster lets you post pictures and videos right from your camera phone to your online pages on sites such as MySpace and Facebook and directly to other mobile phone users.  You can also watch, rate and comment on the latest videos right from your phone.  Use JuiceCaster to stay in touch with current friends and make new ones.  JuiceCaster is available across multiple platforms, including mobile application, WAP site, Flash widget for websites, and Windows desktop application.

Summary of Job Requirements

The Product Development Manager reports to the VP of Product Management and is responsible for producing ongoing projects across Web, Flash, and Windows Desktop platforms; writing and maintaining product documentation; coordinating development and implementation of systems, processes, and/or policies. Key duties:

·         Writes and updates ongoing product specifications and documentation

·         Manages all product engineering requests, issues lists, and bug fixes

·         Reviews software design documents and QA test cases

·         Gathers requirements and coordinates across functions such as technology, marketing, QA, community, design, and operations

·         Responsible for project planning and communicating product development

·         Works closely with software engineers and QA to optimize PRDs and plans

·         Creates the visibility necessary to carry a product from definition through launch

·         Supports product development processes

Required Skills / Experience

·         Excellent organization and project management skills

·         2+ years experience in web/mobile technical product or project management

·         2+ years in collecting, writing, and managing software requirements documents

·         Ability to manage multiple project simultaneously

·         Ability to adjust to frequently changing priorities and fast-paced environment

·         Must be passionate about the web and mobile, our demographic and building community

·         Proficiency with MS Office suite

·         Aptitude for learning new tools and processes

·         Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

·         Must be independent, detail oriented, ready to take ownership, and be a self-starter

Preferred Skills / Experience

·         Knowledge of Wiki and MS Visio

·         Preferred Web experience includes social media orientated services and sites

·         Preferred Mobile experience includes games or WAP

·         Knowledge of Flash based applications
