Description
This position is for a senior member of the Content Publishing IT team to support and build key applications to support the automatic pagination and electronic publishing of the 40,000 catalog pages the company produces each year. The ideal candidate will provide best practices and implementation expertise on design, development and implementtion of Web based applications using J2EE Technologies (Java Servlets, JSP, EJB, Web-Services, JDBC, JavaScript, Java Beans, XML technologies and MVCC Design Patterns), knowledge of technologies such as SOA (Service Orientated Architecture) and Web Services, and leadership during the software development process -- including project management, requirements analysis, design, coding and testing, implementation and support, quality assurance, documentation, presentation and training. This candidate must be experienced and comfortable working with users to understaand business requirements and be able to translate the requirements to a technical design and architecture. Four+ years Java programming experience required.df-tc
