Description
A State client is currently looking for a Performance/Load Tester for up to 3 year contract. The Performance/Load Tester will develop test plans, scripts and participate in test execution. Additionally, the Performance/Load Tester will plan and implement test automation. Consultant services will also provide technical knowledge transfer to client staff on the planning, preparation and outcome of their testing activities and test automation. The test software products that will be utilized are Mercury Load Runner, Mercury Test Director, Mercury Quick Test Pro and ParaSoft. The scope of this project encompasses the following tasks: · Develop performance and load test plans and test scripts for applications· Execute test plans and test scripts for applications· Provide detailed technical knowledge transfer to staff on the performance and load test plans, test execution, test results · Provide test automation for the applications; provide technical knowledge transfer of the implemented automation · Provide administrative support for the Mercury test software products · Attend meetings as needed· Provide the Test Office Manager with weekly status and inform of any issues that require escalation
