Job Description:
The Quality Assurance Engineer plans, performs and documents manual and automated testing for complex commercial software products. Writes test cases, performs complex functional, application, regression, and performance tests.

Experience and Skills:
The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of systems experience, including 2 or more years of systems administration, software quality assurance and/or development experience in complex, large-scale IT environments. Technology experience should be current.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems or related experience.
Minimum two years product testing and/or development experience.
Experience with IBM Functional Tester (formally Rational Test Suite).
Experience with a wide range of Windows software packages - SQL, MIIS, SMS, MOM, Exchange....
Ability and initiative to learn new technologies quickly.
Experienced at writing test cases and designing test systems.
Broad understanding of QA processes.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Experience with distributed network architectures and monitoring applications.
Experience with directory technologies - Active Directory, eDirectory.
Experience with VB .Net and\or C# a plus
Experience with key Active Directory technologies; replication topologies, Group Policy, IPSec, LDAP a plus
MCSE or MCSD a plus
