Quality Assurance-Systems Consulting Analyst

Location: Atlanta, GA


Seeking candidates with experience in large scale government health care engagements. We offer the opportunity to work with state-of-the art web based technology and with other highly skilled professionals on projects that will change the way business is conducted and services are rendered.

Salary - Excellent

(MINIMUM)

MUST HAVE - Medicaid, Medicare, or claims processing background.

1. Four year college degree

2. Similar systems consulting analyst experience on at least one large scale application project (a web-based project preferred)

3. Strong analysis skills

4. Prior experience with iterative development projects and/or RUP methodology

5. Prior experience conducting requirements meetings with customers

6. Prior management or supervisory experience

7. Ability to travel overnight to meet with customers

8. Strong writing skills and experience

9. Good verbal and presentation communication skills



PREFERRED:

1. Medicaid/Medicare/commercial health claims knowledge

2. Experience with testing products, rules engines or similar applications

3. Prior exposure to all aspects of system test including: manual test case development, automated test tools, regression testing, stress testing, performance testing.

4. Experience with an object-oriented design project.

5. Demonstrated proficiency in reading and development of UML diagrams and Use Case Methodology.

6. Experience testing a JAVA web-based application

7. Experience with Oracle or other relational DBMS.

8. PMP or Business Analyst certification or working toward same.




Major Position Responsibilities:

1. Act as a subject matter expert and liaison with a state customer for specific system areas.

2. Participate in customer requirements meetings

3. Define, gather, and analyze customer requirements

4. Develop customer deliverables

5. Work with developers to resolve requirements issues and ensure requirements are being met

6. Document and manage defects and issues that arise out of testing.

7. Coordinate defect resolution with developers and retest fixes

8. Develop system documentation in conjunction with developers

9. Accurately estimate work effort and complete assignments on schedule

10. Travel as needed (% dependent on project)
