Software Engineers - Client Software Developers
This is an outstanding opportunity with tremendous growth potential. We need highly motivated engineers that thrive on creating and developing cutting-edge wireless applications for mobile platforms in J2ME (Java-based), BREW (C-based), and/or Windows Mobile. You will have a direct impact on the design and development of the company‚s core products. You will understand business processes, design solutions, make decisions, and provide estimates of effort. You will translate requirements into functional specifications (screen designs, pseudo code, system flow) and work with the development team during the build phase and with QA during testing.
Minimum Requirements:
· 3+ years hands-on development experience in a commercial software development environment using C / C++ or Java.
· Experience required in one of the following mobile platforms: J2ME, BREW, or Windows Mobile. Windows CE or Win 32 helpful.
· Experience with all phases of product development lifecycle, including requirements definition, specifications, development, test, product release, and sustaining engineering.
· Proficiency with Object-Oriented design methodology.
· Experience in programming dynamic and advanced graphics mobile applications
· (i.e., Windows GUI applications).
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Self-managed proactive work style. Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills. Able to work independently and in a team environment.
· Desire to engage in extremely challenging assignments.
· Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related discipline.
