Description
The successful candidate will possess the following knowledge, abilities and skills:

- Highly proficient with various versions of UNIX (Solaris, AIX, Linux) and related hardware platforms. Ability to build, secure, troubleshoot, script/automate, monitor, tune, doucment, and develop disaster recovery plans for hardware and operating systems is necessary. Working knowledge of networking and security technologies and current best practices is required.

- Ability to install, tune, troubleshoot, and integrate various end-user and infrastructure applications into the ND technological environemnt. Possible examples include email, DNS/DHCP, Web, HP OpenView, Veritas Netbackup, Oracle, ERP (desired SCT Banner), and related applications

- Ability to integrate various technologies to provide a coherent technology service as defined by the CIO/CTO/Director. Effectively team with staffs of various departments to achieve objectives including Networking, Security, Operations, Held Desk, departmental technology staff, and end users.
