Description
Responsible for the preparation and implementation of all aspects of product quality assurance relating to new development and maintenance of existing systems. Participate in developing and improving quality assurance procedures. Create test data for applications. May supervise a group of temps who perform clerical tasks. Attend the inter-departmental meeting to gather/understand QA requirements and follow QA guidelines and directions set by the QA Manager and Lead.Description:Responsibility for all aspects of assigned projects including the analysis of testing requirements, preparation of system test plans, test specifications and test case folios, analysis of resource requirements. Responsibility for ensuring that testing is implemented and executed according to test plans.Review test plans and specifications to ensure proper testing coverage, coordinate all aspects of software testing; might include supervising the work of other QA Analysts.Ensuring testing activity log is maintained and analysis of test results is carried out. Active role in resolving problems.Logging of incidents and diagnosing problems, reporting problem status and tracking problems to their conclusion. Ensuring that all incidents and reported problems are tracked through to conclusion.Improve test procedures and automate routine tasks to improve their effectiveness.Provide estimates for scheduling purposes; ensure schedules are adhered to.Responsibility for coordinating the disposition of software components or release.Participate in technical review and walk-through.
