Sysgenix Resources has been asked by a client in the Nashville area to assist in finding an additional SQL Server Database Administrator/Developer for an immediate opening. Client prefers contract-to-hire on a 6 month contract to fulltime conversion. Our client is based in Nashville, TN and through acquisition and growth our client is expanding rapidly. They offer an excellent working environment and plenty of career growth opportunities to candidates focused on detail and dedication to quality work. Excellent benefits are offered upon conversion to fulltime at the end of the contract, as well the perks and fringe benefits of the environment, training and resource rooms with gaming systems, sodas, catered lunches, and library / training opportunities are available to all contract and fulltime employees. These roles will be assigned to a variety of projects and responsibilities supporting various applications. New work is in version 2005 but there are many systems and departments still running 2000. Experience with previous versions is preferred.

Experience/Skills
The SQL Server DBA/Developer role needs to have the following skill set:

* 2-5 years of SQL Development and DBA responsibilities
* Strong experience with 2000, prefer exposure to 2005
* Tuning, optimization, and administration as well as exposure to development
* Good documentation skills
* Exposure to large environments preferred. Understanding of how work in one area affects the enterprise across multiple servers, experience with automation and tools to handle administration / scripting experience is strongly preferred.
* T-SQL
* DTS
* Physical/Logical Data modeling
