Job Title: Senior Software EngineerReports To: Director of DevelopmentBased in midtown Atlanta, we are an innovative application service provider offering event registration, business travel, and meeting planning solutions to a dynamic and growing market. We are partnered with several industry leaders and service Fortune 500 companies. We are seeking a self-motivated experienced professional to fill a new Senior Developer/Lead position. This is a salaried position with an excellent benefits package including major medical, dental, 401k, etc.Qualifications:• Minimum of 5 years experience as a senior lead with demonstrable experience in .NET including ASP.NET, VB.NET, ADO.NET, XML, web services, etc. • Solid understanding of .NET web based software architecture including configuration, security, optimization, etc. • Good understanding of OO principles, multi-tier web applications and relational databases. • Excellent analytical skills and ability to act with minimal direction to ensure project goals are met and delivered on time. • Good understanding of project lifecycles and agile software development methodology. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Can work equally well individually as well as on a team. Essential Duties Include (but are not limited to):• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain current and new.NET applications and web services • Serve as technical lead on development projects; participation in full software development lifecycle including requirements analysis and design. • Responsibility for developing solutions for all tiers of the application; code-behinds, controls, middle-tier business components, database layer, etc. • Investigate and analyze reported defects in a timely manner, and recommend solutions to these problems including code changes, data updates, or configuration modifications. • Ability to design and develop software in a group or independently. • Lead technical design and development reviews. • Conduct and assist in integration testing. • Assist in formulating standards and development practices. • Ability to mentor junior developers. Certifications:No certification is required, but will be considered a plus. Supervisory Responsibilities:This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
