ALL CANDIDATES WILL BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE A LIVE WRITING SAMPLE

As Desktop Refresh Test Coordinator, plan refresh testing tasks/schedule and assist business unit, subject matter experts with: Testing of their software products, Documenting test results, Writing installation and configuration documentation.

Candidate will be responsible for managing multiple testing projects, prioritizing tasks as necessary; reporting upon and coordinating all testing activities.

Candidate will be responsible for identifying, documenting, and assisting with resolution of product and process-based defects.

Candidate will provide general mentoring on sound testing practices.

Candidate will provide status and test management metrics to ITTC and project team.

Software Quality Control/Testing Analyst - Intermediate with 2 year(s) experience.
Possess a thorough understanding of development and testing methodologies; Testing of software installations per product documentation

Testing releases related to Windows 2000, NT, and Windows services - Intermediate with 2 year(s) experience.
Recent solid testing experience in a Windows/Web-enabled environment; High-level understanding of how operating systems work, and communication between them; Ability to navigate through files and folders in the registry and check registry keys

Use of Test Tools: Mercury and/or Rational - Intermediate with 2 year(s) experience.
Experience using test tools for test management, requirements traceability, defect tracking; Mercury Quality Center, Rational Test Manager, Rational Requisite Pro, Rational ClearQuest and Rational Robot

Backup and Restore PCs - Intermediate with 2 year(s) experience.
Ability to use Symantec Ghost to back up and restore PC configurations

Microsoft Office Suite - Intermediate with 2 year(s) experience.
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access and Project

Experience in scheduling products for deployment with System Management Server (SMS) and/or System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) - Intermediate with 2 year(s) experience.

Understanding of Windows XP Professional and Vista - Intermediate with 2 year(s) experience.

WebSphere/JAVA runtime environments - Intermediate with 2 year(s) experience.
