Job Title: Security Specialist (Windows - need 3) Same general requirements as Security Analyst below, except Windows certified/experience, 5 years overall experience with minimum if 1 year C&A experience according to NIST Guidelines Education Required: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Experience Desired: Computer Science Degree Experience (Years) Required: 10 years of overall experience with a minimum of 5 years in IT Security C&A experience Desired: C&A according to NIST Guidelines Required: The required candidate should be able to develop and assist in implementation of IT Security policies and Standard Operating Procedures. The suitable candidate should have complete knowledge and working experience in Certification and Accreditations of IT systems. The candidate should have a thorough knowledge of one of the standard methodologies used in the Certification and Accreditation process. The suitable candidate must have an extensive experience, following the NIST guidelines, in the Risk Assessment and Management, Vulnerability Analysis in the area of Technical, Operational, Administrative, Physical and Personnel, Threat Analysis and the Mitigation Plans, Disaster Recovery Plan, Threat Analysis, Contingency Plan, Knowledge of Management, Technical and Operational Controls, Incident Response Capability, Communication Plan, Configuration Management Plan, System Security Plan and Application Security Test and Evaluation. The ideal candidate should have the abilities to perform the penetration testing, vulnerability testing, database password protection testing and application security testing. Desired: The suitable candidate must have the knowledge and technical skills in TCP/IP, LAN/WAN technologies, various LAN-Hubs and Switches, Security architecture and VPN communications. The candidate must also have experience in Intrusion Detection Tools, Internet Security Scanner, ISS Real Secure Intrusion Detection, Kane Security Analyst, Bindview Enterprise Security Manager, various network sniffers and Internet penetration tools.Knowledge of Federal agencies? external reporting requirements and its internal security requirements is desired.
