Description
You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting IDMS database management systems, utilize corporate data. Providing assistance and support to higher level staff for database design, architecture, performance, standards, availability, system integrity, and accessibility is critical to the position. Also, you will work with business and application developers collectively to define business entities, rules, relationships, attributes, elements and other various data modeling and/or database objects. This role will be involved in the development and administration of standards for the support of data, databases, and data models, in conjunction with planning, implementing, and maintaining recovery procedures and emergency disaster plans.df-tc

Experience/Skills
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a major or minor in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of four to six years experience in business systems development utilizing IDMS (preferably with experience in version 14.1), in conjunction with CICS, DML, OLQ, COBOL, MVS, UNIX.
- Must have prior experience with migrations, unload/reloads, restructuring, and performance/tuning.
- Minimum of three to five years experience administering a DBMS.
