Functional Description:
ACS is looking for a Senior Cognos Technical Lead/Administrator to join the Reporting/BI Center of Excellence. The Individual will be responsible for the following


Installing and Administering Cognos on both Unix & Windows.
Serve as the Mentor for other Cognos developers in the Reporting Center of Excellence
Expand on established standards for developing reports, creating Framework Manager models
Upgrade Cognos versions on Cognos Servers seamlessly
Adhere to the industry software development methodology principles when migrating software across environments, upgrading versions of Cognos
Work with the HW Infrastructure Group to identify potential issues in Performance, Architecture and make recommendations for the same
Coordinate and assist in managing the report development activities that happens in the ACS Manila office and the ACS Atlanta office

Education and Typical Years Experience
Bachelors Degree
4 to 5 years experience in Cognos Installation, Configuration & other Administraton on Windows/Unix. Must have experience installing Cognos 8.x.
4 to 5 years Cognos Development experience using Cognos tools such as Framework Manager, Report Studio, Metrics Studio, Report Net
Experience using Analysis Studio / Powerplay Preferrable
Experience using COgnos SDK Preferrable
